PTERYGIUM

Aunty doc well done oo!!! Please I want to complain to you about my eye. See eehh, just look at my eye there's something growing there and it's moving towards my black eye. This thing disturbs me alot especially when I'm outside, on a bike, when it's airy, or when I'm cooking with my firewood, sometimes when I stay under the air condition for a long time. You know the worst part of it is that it makes me feel like there's sand in my eyes, it itches me, and sometimes my eyes turn red and pains me. NEW BORN BABIES DO NOT SHED TEARS, WHY?

DID YOU KNOW???🤔 💖 💖 Ever noticed you'll never see tears rolling down a young baby's cheeks? Newborns don't shed tears because their tear glands haven't fully formed... 💖 💖 Although newborn babies will certainly let you know if they’re unhappy, they’re technically not crying because their tear ducts won’t be developed enough to create tears until they’re between one and three months old. Howling, yes.Wailing, yes.Screeching, definitely. But crying? Not really. 💖 💖 See an optometrist if after a period of 3 months you still notice the absence of tears with other signs like redness at the inner corner of the eye and a slight tenderness and swelling or bump at the side of the nose. THIS COULD BE A SIGN OF AN INFECTION!!! 💖 💖
